Purinize Water Review

DSC_0564.JPG

Purified water is a necessity these days on the trail and Purinize comes in handy many times over! I was excited to work with Purinize because they have a high claim of being a natural purifying agent. Especially these days when natural is all the rage, that is an important piece of purification. Who wants to drink water that has been attacked by chemicals and more.

This review is a bit different than your average review because you need to review its success in a few categories rather than construction and design. So check out the claims and the results on each areas below.

Improves flavor

In a small taste test of before and after river water. The verdict is 100% yes it does improve the flavor. From river flavor to Purinized is shockingly different and better.

Removes Turbidity

Yes, in fact it does get rid of turbidity. From milky pond and river water our tests lead to a much clearer water post-Purinize.

Wait Time

60 minutes is the truth here, wait too short and you'll get the grime from the original water, too long and nothing more happens.

Health and feeling post drinking

Post 4 different tests I felt good, enjoyed a healthy feeling of hydration, and had no digestive issues.

Suggested use

We suggest grabbing at least a 2 ounce container of Purinizne and keeping it in your pack. For camping or survival situations this might just offer the difference you need to find and make potable water during your exploration. Plus it's on sale now for $13.55 per bottle! They are also running a special right now for anyone who lives in Flint, Michigan going through the water crisis- if that's you, be sure to check it out.

Pro Tip - Pair it with the VSSL flask so you have a container to purify in!

The claims seem to have come true and this product is a winner. We give it a 4 out of 5 on the explorer rating simply because the product works best in conjunction with another product such as a portable filter.

So go order goes today and explore better by being prepared!
