Vapur Quencher Anti-Bottle Review
By: Tara McComas
We took advantage of these last days of summer/fall to get out for a family hike and use our new Vapur water bottles. At first glance my kids thought that they were SO cool. And when they discovered that they got to decorate them, they loved them. Vapur offers a couple pages of stickers that are unique to the pouch. So this provided for a fun activity, which is always a plus!
One of the selling points of Vapur is that they are compact and easy for travel. I would say this is absolutely true. Even for my kids who are 4 and 2 they could (could being the key word) carry these bottles on their own. As we hiked and they got tired it was easy to snap onto the baby carrier and keep going. My son really wanted to carry his on his belt loop but it was a little heavy for a kid his size.
One of the first things I noticed that happened when I gave the pouches to the kids is that my four year old understood the cap and bottle top. My two year old did not! So we had several spills where she would just squeeze it all over the place. Vapur advertises these for ages 3 and up and I would agree with that.
Overall, I would say these were a hit. The kids loved decorating them, they provide enough water for little people without creating extra bulk for me to carry. Because we all know that’s what moms are for! My kids are still little so this probably wouldn’t be my first go-to purchase for them but would be great for kids in school. Whether field trips, lunches, or whatever. But we are going on an overseas trip in the next couple weeks and plan to take these along. And they are dishwasher safe!
